Air fryer Apples
These air fried apples are a delicious treat. I turn to these when I am craving something sweet but something healthyish. My son loves these.
Ingredients:
- 3 apples
- ½ tsp. oil/butter
- 1 tbsp. maple syrup or honey
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar or jaggery
- ½ tsp. cinnamon or pumpkin spice
Directions:
- Wash and core the apples. You can peel them but I left the peel on.
- Now cut into slices that are equal sized.
- Preheat air fryer at 180C or 360F for 3 minutes.
- Brush the apple slices with oil/butter and lay in a single layer in air fryer.
- Air fry for at 180C or 360F for about 10-12 minutes till they get cooked and start turning brown.
- You will need more time in case your slices are thick. Also time will vary depending upon the model of your air fryer.
- Take the slices in a bowl. Add maple syrup/honey on top and mix well. Now sprinkle cinnamon/pumpkin spice and brown sugar on top and mix well.
- Consume warm or at room temperature.
- This is best consumed fresh. Enjoy your sweet treat.
