Air fryer Avocado Egg
Avocado egg in air fryer are a perfect keto breakfast. Creamy avocado with richness of soft yolk is a tasty combination.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 avocado
- 1 pinch salt
- ⅕ tsp. pepper
- ⅕ tsp. chilli flakes
Directions:
- Take an avocado and slice it into half. Remove the pit.
- If your avocado is small, you can scoop out some more flesh.
- You must have a big enough cavity to fit one egg.
- Season the avocado with salt, pepper and red chilli flakes if using.
- Carefully crack an egg into the hollow so that it fits well and the yolk does not break.
- Preheat air fryer at 380F or 160C for 5 minutes.
- Carefully place avocado halves inside the air fryer basket.
- Be careful that they don’t tip over.
- If your avocado is very round, you can slightly slice off the bottom to make it stable enough to stand.
- Air fry for about 8-10 minutes at 380F or 160C till the white is cooked and the yolk is runny.
- If you like fully cooked yolk (which is what I like) then cook it maybe a minute more.
- Sprinkle with some salt and pepper along with chilli flakes or chives as per your preference.
