Cheesy Spinach
Creamy spinach with melted cheese and subtle spices. A rich and comforting side dish that complements meats or works as a dip.
Ingredients:
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed, well drained
- 2 cups small curd cottage cheese 1 1/2 cups cubed process american cheese
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, cubed
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into a greased slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Reduce heat to low; cook 4-5 hours longer or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
