Coconut-Mango Green Tea Quick Oatmeal

Eat breakfast at the office? Use the hot water from the water cooler and pour directly into the snack jar.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup (175 ml) water
  • 1 green tea bag
  • ½ cup (125 ml) quick-cooking or old fashioned oats
  • 1 piece dried mango (approx. 1" x 3"/2.5 cm x 7.5 cm), chopped
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
  • 1 tbsp (15 ml) flax seeds

Directions:

  1. In a 2-cup (500-mL) Silicone Prep Bowl, microwave the water with the tea bag on HIGH for 1½–2 minutes.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the Make & Take Snack Jar; add the tea and stir to mix.
  3. Place the lid loosely on the jar and let it stand for 3 minutes.
  4. Stir before serving.
