Coconut-Mango Green Tea Quick Oatmeal
Eat breakfast at the office? Use the hot water from the water cooler and pour directly into the snack jar.
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup (175 ml) water
- 1 green tea bag
- ½ cup (125 ml) quick-cooking or old fashioned oats
- 1 piece dried mango (approx. 1" x 3"/2.5 cm x 7.5 cm), chopped
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) sweetened flaked coconut
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) honey
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) flax seeds
Directions:
- In a 2-cup (500-mL) Silicone Prep Bowl, microwave the water with the tea bag on HIGH for 1½–2 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the Make & Take Snack Jar; add the tea and stir to mix.
- Place the lid loosely on the jar and let it stand for 3 minutes.
- Stir before serving.
