Creole Rice

A spicy Southern-style rice dish with peppers, tomatoes, and Creole seasoning. Serve with seafood or sausage for a Louisiana-inspired feast.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon creole seasoning* 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups cooked long-grain rice

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter; add Creole seasoning and pepper. Cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover and heat through.
