Hearty Beef Stew
Classic beef stew filled with tender beef chunks, potatoes, and vegetables in a thick, savory broth. A comforting, stick-to-your-ribs meal for chilly nights.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound cubed beef stew meat 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika salt and pepper to taste 2 cups beef broth
- 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 2 potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 pound mushrooms, quartered 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
Directions:
- Place beef stew meat into a slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together flour, paprika, salt, and pepper; sprinkle over beef stew meat, stirring to coat. Stir in beef broth, teriyaki sauce, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic and bay leaf.
- Cover, and cook on Low 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
