Oat Waffles

Wholesome and hearty, these waffles use oats for extra texture and fiber. A satisfying, nutritious start to the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 cup oat flour*
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups fat-free milk
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Combine the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until combined. Pour batter by 1/2 cupfuls into a preheated waffle iron; bake according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown.
