Sweet and Savory Ribs
Fall-off-the-bone ribs cooked low and slow in a sweet and savory sauce. Perfect for backyard gatherings or game day dinners.
Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 2 1/2 pounds boneless country- style pork ribs
- 1 (18 ounce) bottle honey barbecue sauce
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
- Place onion in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Top with the ribs. Combine the barbecue sauce, syrup, mustard, salt and pepper; pour over ribs. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours or until the meat is tender.
